Welcome to Estuary

Welcome to Estuary! We appreciate your interest in our city. Soon, we will have more information about Estuary itself, as well as the people, places, and things you can find here. In the meantime, please be patient as we get our goblins on typewriters and get some content in the works.

In Real Life:
Welcome. This website is a roleplaying game materials website run by Arazyr. You will find links to general information about the site at the top of the page. Links to categories of game materials are found in the right-hand column. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Xeph Paragon

"...so, once I identified the dark stranger as a xeph, I tried to adjust my tactics to try to wear him out. But he just kept racing around us. I thought they could only move so fast for so long!"
— overheard in The Steaming Pot tavern

Maenad Paragon

"As if wilders or maenads weren't dangerous enough separately. This young 'lady' who wants to explore her so-called heritage is a danger to herself and anyone around her."
— Xamuel Redstone, on the subject of a rejected application to the Ruby Academy.

Svirfneblin Paragon

"We have this critter in the stockades that we're not sure what to do with. We think he's a gnome of some sort, but he doesn't look like any gnome I've ever seen. Oddly, he was tearing up Gnome Town when we caught him; and he sure was tough to catch. I thought we'd lost him a few times, 'cause he looked like he just up and disappeared. Kept shouting, 'I am the scourge that will purify the filthy betrayers!' Dunno what that means, but we do have some gnomish casualties."
— Torin Jakkobsen, Captain of the Estuary City Guard, making his report to the Ruling Council

Pixie Paragon

"Yeah, we pixies can be mischievous; we prefer to think of it as 'fun-loving'. Sometimes, though, a pixie decides to take up a 'higher cause' -- protecting the innocent, helping the oppressed, and so forth. While those are all well and good, such pixies can never reach their full potential. We're made to have fun, and hopefully spread some joy in the process."
— Marigold, pixie adventuress

Kobold Paragon

"Credit to my race, you say? Actually, according to my tribe, I'm an embarrassment. My cousin Vakrovik, now, he's the model of koboldhood. He's cunning, devious and ruthless; all the qualities a young kobold is taught to admire."
— Krevikath, kobold mechanic

Half-Giant Paragon

Halcyon Jorgrond, a friend of Xamuel Redstone and frequent visiting instructor at the Ruby Academy, is said to have giant blood. Whenever he is confronted by that rumor, he categorically denies it, saying instead that he is a giant, with human blood as well.

Half-Fiend Paragon

Anywhere evil is at its strongest, you will find champions of the light who have developed themselves to their fullest potential in order to fight it. And vice versa.

Half-Celestial Paragon

The City of Estuary has the largest population of openly active half-celestials in the known world. It is a very cosmopolitan city, plus the influence of the Temple of Light makes the city one of the most accepting of, and acceptable to, such strongly good-aligned beings.

Goblin Paragon

"And so, he was going on about 'I am the pinnacle of goblinhood' and 'I am what all goblins want to be'. So I says, 'Yeah, but you're still a goblin.' Heh heh."
— overheard in The Steaming Pot Tavern
